Memo to Mzee Moi, Biwott, Kosgey, et al

March 29, 2006 at 10:21 am 6 comments

Kit nebo kamanut eng bikap Keiyo / Nandi, etc konai
ng’olyondoni……
Mwaei ichek kole (kit nenyolo koro ak kobwat Arap Moi
Biwott ak Kosgey eng Arap Ruto) “Chepkisas ko tatun
kechomei.”

Nyolu konai Arap Moi, Biwott ak Kosgey kole chang
bikap Kalenjin chetomo konyor imanda eng icheget kou
ichek che bunu Trans-Nzoia, Mt. Elgon, West Pokot,
Marakwet, etc.

And now the same message for the benefit of those
among us who don’t know a wee bit of Kalenjin….:-)

It’s vital that, in the context of the
Moi-Biwott-Kosgey vs Ruto duel, the Kalenjin people
understand that…..
That their own people have a saying to the effect that
“he who is despised now might be useful in the days to
come.”

The Moi-Biwott-Kosgey axis needs to understand that
not all ordinary Kalenjins support them on this
matter; including those from Trans-Nzoia, West Pokot,
Marakwet, Mt. Elgon, etc.

This is rather short to generate resource thought… i don’t understand the language in the text, however, how can so many words be translated into one line??? well, just food for thought… if that the case, how many words would i need to respond…

yeah, its true that “chepkisa ko tatun kechamei” the proverb goes that do not judge a book by its cover.
Moi, Biwott & Kosgei do not have to despise rutto. by the way the have to understand clearly that they are not in any way speaking for kale’s. leave the people to decide the vate of rutto sine they have full authority.
Rutto is also a man like others and has his own political right to make any move as he so wishes.

Koami reserve eng weekend. Makomache biik ngalekab arap Kosgey. Kere mat ab arap belat kenyini nyone. Nguno kole biik leweni arap Langat (David Langat). Kibek ng’alekab Arap Biwott keny.

Biwott and Kosgey were in Nandi Hills a few days ago. People were ready to lynch them if they spoke ill against Rutto. Wisdom prevailed and the two steered clear of the subject. Kalenjin politics underwent a radical change last year. Unfortunately the Kalenjin politicians did not change. Their style of politics belongs in the 1980s.

As for Boiyot Moi everybody knows that he is supporting Uhuru for selfish reasons.
