Gideon’s spies

An interesting book by Gordon Thomas, with some stuff on Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, Malawi, DR Congo, etc.

If you share a fascination in world events and affairs to the extent and proportion that such inform the enduring Middle East question, then Thomas could offer you something to flirt with.

I finished re-reading it today.
